My favourite E.L.F brushes

I want to share with you today my personal favourite ELF brushes. I don't own many of them yet, but I'm planning to try out some new ones soon!

The ones I'm using alot currently are: (ltr) Blending brush ($1,00), smudge brush ($1,00), powder brush ($3,00), and the kabuki face brush ($6,00).

The kabuki and the powder brush are both anti-bacterial, and made of synthetic hair.

Especially the kabuki brush is incredibly soft and I love using this brush to powder my face after I put on my foundation. I didn't discover any problems with shadding or whatsoever, and also after washing the brush keeps its shape.

The powder brush is my absolute favourite of all 4! It's called powder brush, but I would rather call it a buffing brush. I use this brush to buff in my foundation. It gives full coverage, and an even finish. I'm definitely going to buy a another same one, just because I love it so much.

The blending brush is a good, decent brush for blending eyeshadows in the crease. It is not really soft, but not too hard either. I don't own any other blending brushes so I can't really compare, but i like it.

I use the smudge brush for smudging hard lines from eyepencils, or to apply eyeshadows with on the lid.

As they don't sell E.L.F cosmetics in the Netherlands, I bought this products online from their official website. You can also check on Ebay.

What are your favourite E.L.F brushes? Do you have any recommendations?
If so, please comment them below!

Skincare favourite: Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

Hello everybody,

Today I want to share with you my recently found (very popular) favourite moisturizer : Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré.
(embryolisse labratoires - french brand)

I've heard and read thousands of positive reviews about this product, and also my favourite youtube guru's the pixiwoo sisters use this product a lot in their tutorials.

What the packaging says:

A wonderful care product - a real beauty secret, favoured by dermatologists for decades; a combination of ingredients of natural origin with recognised virtues, rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins. Provides the skin with all the nutrients and water needed for its balance, reconstitutes its hydrolipidic film - the barrier that protects the skin from aggression - and accelerates cell renewal. Moisturized, nourished and repaired, the skin is supple and elastic once more. It is plumped, smoothes, and incredibly soft. Signs of dryness and discomfort disappear, leaving the skin soothed. Its creamy milk texture leaves a satin film, even on dry skin.

At first I was not sure if I should buy it, because only a very few products work for my sensitive, acné prone skin. Because of all the hype and positive reviews around this product I decided to give it a try, and omg I'm glad I did! First of all it is a great base for liquid foundations. My foundation goes on so much smoother and stays in place all day. I'm currently using MAC's pro longwear foundation, on wich I will make a review soon! I really like how both products work together on my skin, and I've been getting a lot of compliments on my skin lately. :-)

At first I thought that the moisturizer would be too rich for me. When applied to the face it might look a little dewy/shiny, that's why I leave it to sink into the skin for about 5 minutes before I apply my foundation.

Because I ran out of a night moisturizer, I now also use the Embryollise one. It works perfectly, when I wake up in the morning my face feels really soft and has a 'healthy sheen' (if that makes sense). The only downside on this product is that it doesn't contain SPF, so I will have to go on the hunt for a good sunscreen to wear over my moisturizer, do you have any options? If so, please let me know!
The moisturizer didn't cause any break-outs or clogged pores so that's a huge +.

I bought this product online on www.bybeautygloss.nl for €16,99. It contains 75 ml. - 2,6 Fl.OZ

Chi iron Nano digital

Hello girls!

Today I want to tell you about my CHI flat iron. I've been using this hair tool a lot, I straighten my hair  almost every day with it. The flat iron is very easy to use, and you can control the heat up to a maximum of 200°C . It makes your hair really really soft and perfectly straight.
I bought it about a year ago for €139,-. It still works perfect and it was worth every penny. I use the flat iron in combination with my biosilk. These two really make the perfect match together. Whenever you straighten you hair make sure you protect your hair against damage by using a heat protector. A few heat protectors I like: biosilk, maroccan oil and TRESemmé.

Here is a picture of Liza's hair straightened with the CHI flat iron. Before straightening I put some biosilk in her hair to protect it and to make it ultra soft.

Which flat iron do you girls like the most?

L'Oréal Mythic Oil review

Hi girls,

After a long, long time of writing on the blog, i'm (we're!) back!
Look out for new reviews, FOTD's, tutorials, and outfit posts.
Today's review will be about a hair serum I have been loving lately: L'Oréal's Mythic Oil nourishing oil - For all hair types.

I bought this product online about 2 months ago, and as you can see I have used about 1/4 of it.

What the product says http://www.lorealprofessionnel.co.uk/products/haircare/mythic-oil

Hair type:
All hair types.
Results/Effect:
Enriched with a special blend of avocado and grape seed oil, this lightweight oil cares and pampers all hair types. Nourishing even the finest hair, the formula leaves hair looking shiny, feeling nourished and supple.
Application/How to use:
Before blow-drying, your hairdresser will diligently apply Mythic Oil to various sections of the hair, allowing the formula to pamper your tired locks. Followed by a look transforming blow-dry, hair is left looking shiny and feeling supple.

My opinion:

First of all I want to mention that this product is not a heat protector.
This product will not protect  your hair from any hot hair tools.
What it does to my hair though is that it makes my hair very soft and shiny. I use 2 or 3 pumps after I wash my hair. Right after I blowdry my hair with a large round brush. The serum really decreases the drying time, and is also very lightweight. It does'nt leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy at all.
On regular days when I don't straighten or curl my hair, I just put a little of the serum in, blowdry my hair, and I'm good to go!
Overall I'm very happy with the product, and I will definitely repurchase.

Price: €23,95 ,
125 ML

Love,
Liza
